Gail Ring is the designer of the Cancer Survivor Pin. She has known Red Garden Designs founder Carla Emanuel since Carla was a student in her Sunday school class. Gail is also the mother of Carla's sister in law so Carla considers her family.

According to http://www.diakonosdesigns.com/, a website showcasing Gail's work, she has worked as a commercial artist for more than 26 years.  Gail has an Art Degree from UW-Madison, and a Commercial Art Degree from MATC.   Gail's preferred mediums are Ink, Pastels, Colored Pencil, and Water Color.

"I've always noticed the little things.  Other people see a tree or a seascape - I fall in love with the leaf or the shell. I collect pieces of nature: acorns, feathers, seedpods, rocks - if it interested The Creator enough to make it, it interests me"
